How to advertise desserts
Biscuits, cupcakes, candies and other sweets are usually sold in nontransparent packages. A customer can only guess and suppose how the real product looks like.
Promotion of desserts and sweets by using food models is an efficient instrument of selling sweets in supermarkets. Artificial food copies are used to decorate display windows, which is very efficient to attract customers attention, moreover, they demonstrate dessert appearance and filling.
How to decorate a shop’s display window with sweets and desserts models to bring new customers and increase sales:
- Show the product’s appearance without package;
- Show a filling if it is an integral part of the product;
- Put an original product in a package by the model;
- Put the models of sweets or desserts in a beautiful plate. You can imitate a “tea time”: put cups with “tea”, tableware and napkins;
- Put food models in some distance from each other so that your visitors could see all of their sides.
Note: the more expensive your products are, the more space you need in your display window for decoration;
- Put big bright photos of a dessert in the background;
- Make bright illumination of your display window.
