Client Overview
Realistic bubble tea replicas and sandwich replicas for café display became a key element of the COCADE concept. The café specializes in fresh sandwiches and signature drinks, including layered beverages with creamy foam typical of bubble tea.
The main goal was to stand out on a busy suburban street in France by using the window display to visually showcase ingredient quality and attract passersby.
Challenges & Goals
The owner of COCADE aimed to transform a standard window into an active sales tool using bubble tea replicas and sandwich replicas for café display. The main objectives were:
- Attract attention: Create a strong visual focal point that makes passersby stop
- Menu presentation: Showcase the layered structure of drinks, creamy foam textures, and the appetizing look of sandwiches without using real food that quickly loses its appearance
- Innovative display: Build a foundation for a “fantasy-style” installation using lighting and rotating elements
Our Solution
To bring the project to life, we created a full set of bubble tea replicas and sandwich replicas in 1:1 scale. For maximum realism, the exact same cups and packaging used by the client were replicated.
- Texture accuracy: To achieve a highly realistic look of the drinks, we used silicone materials with different densities and transparency levels to recreate ice, boba pearls, and liquid layers. Special silicone compounds were applied to reproduce the soft, airy texture of creamy foam and cheese toppings. Sandwich replicas were carefully crafted to reflect the freshness of bread and fillings.
Soft silicone material was used to reproduce the smooth texture and light, airy appearance of soft-serve ice cream, creating a perfect illusion of freshness and supporting effective frozen dessert marketing ideas for shopping malls and retail zones.
Results & Impact
On the day the replicas were delivered, the client immediately placed the bubble tea replicas and sandwich replicas on the display shelves, as creating a full installation required additional time.
Even without completed lighting (spotlights were still in progress), the food replicas for café display significantly increased sales from the very first day, which surprised and delighted the client.
Following this initial success, the client decided to expand the menu and ordered two additional custom drink replicas.
We are currently awaiting photos of the final installation with lighting.
